24 km One Way, Flat/Hilly, Easy, Sealed and Unsealed Rail Trail

Enjoy a ride through a World Heritage beautiful lush sub tropical rain forest. The views across the sugar plantations towards the nearby mountains are stunning.

You will pass through the Burringbar Range Tunnel. The tunnel is 524 m long and is one of NSWs longest. Take a light as it is dark and you might even see micro bats and glow worms.

The Muwillumbah (Northern Rivers) Railway was constructed in 1894. The trains transported cream to the Norco butter factory in Murwillumbah and sugar cane in Condong. Train services ceased in 2004.
