Explore the Mississippi Creek Trail following the route of an old tram line. Built in the 1900's and used until the 1930's, the tram delivered granite boulders down to Lakes Entrance to build a permanent entrance to allow ships to enter Lakes Entrance from Bass Strait.

There is a bit of a climb out of Lakes Entrance and the views down to Lakes Entrance below and the 90 Mile Beach on Bass Strait make the effort worthwhile!

Cycle through the Colquhoun Forest to the East Gippsland Rail Trail. Then reward yourself with a great roll back down the hill and a swim at the beach.Note: There is no water or food on this ride so you will need to take at least 2 litres of water and lunch or snacks.
