Tasmania, is a wonderful and varied place to ride.

The roads can be busy. So we recommend that you cycle between April and December. The East Coast can be very busy during the tourist season from January to April.

Experience the temperate forests, open alpine plains, lakes nestled between mountains, coastal surf beaches and secluded coves. Ride through friendly iconic country towns, many built by convicts from the colonial era. The varied beautiful scenery makes Tasmanian cycling so much fun. Dine on local produce, cheeses, beautiful breads or a fresh milkshake as you rest up in the rural towns.  Stop in at a winery, brewery, cidery or distillery for a relaxing beverage. Perhaps pick up artisan handicraft or two.

Plan your own cycle tour on quiet Tasmanian roads and paths. Our network covers over 1,000 km of rideable roads/paths in Tasmania so you can choose a ride that suits you.

Our Cycling networks are specifically designed for cyclists, to keep you away from the traffic so you can plan your own cycle tour with confidence.  Before your ride, use icon filters to find accommodation and caravan options and food stops along the way. As you are riding along, know when the next Cafe is coming up and enjoy the history and points of interest.
