The roads can be busy. So we recommend that you cycle between March and December. The East Coast can be very busy during the tourist season from January to April.

Ride through friendly iconic country towns, many built by convicts from the colonial era. The varied beautiful scenery makes Tasmanian cycling so much fun. Dine on local produce, cheeses, beautiful breads or a fresh milkshake as you rest up in the rural towns.  Stop in at a winery, brewery, cidery or distillery for a relaxing beverage. Perhaps pick up artisan handicraft or two.
