FarOut Express: El Camino de Costa Rica

FOR FAROUT EXPRESS USE ONLY. El Camino de Costa Rica is a 280 kilometer trail that crosses the country from the Atlantic to the Pacific Oceans in 16 stages. It ascends a cumulative total of over 9,000 meters crossing rivers, rainforests, mountain ranges, as well as an Indigenous Territory. It starts among the coastal islands of the Caribbean which requires some boat travel to reach. The route is comprised mainly of gravel and dirt rural backroads, as well as some jungle footpaths, farm tracks, and other roads, connecting 25 small villages and towns where lodging accommodations and meals are found.
