NSW & ACT Best Scenic Rides

We have so many recommended bike rides from Sydney bike paths to rail trails, to multi-day adventures on some of the most spectacular countryside and coastal beaches NSW has to offer. 

We are actively mapping in NSW and are proud to introduce tour cycling and bikepacking choices. As we map further, more will be added to your purchase for free!  A recent addition is a further segment of the Bushranger1100 ride, thanks to Brad Mertens for this fantastic route. Sydney is building cycling infrastructure including cycle paths. This stunning harbour city can be tricky to ride but things are getting better! We have mapped the paths we are aware of and if you have any further suggestions please just let us know. We'd love to map your 'burb and favourite rides.

In the meantime enjoy a ride from the Sydney Opera House to Lithgow without using the highway. Thanks to Barney Stevens and John Fuller for this one. It is an amazing ride up the escarpment to the Blue Mountains. 

The 400km Central West Cycle Trail is also included. Hundreds of kilometres on quiet roads featuring rural landscape, native bush areas, villages, small towns and regional cities.  This ride starts out of Mudgee and has been put together by local cyclists to showcase their region full of open country side, shady tracks, the night sky, original gold rush towns, cellar doors and river banks.  

If you are after a challenging ride with great views, enjoy the Barrington Tops ride. You will need some experience with rough gravel grinding to enjoy this experience. 

Our Cycling networks are specifically designed for cyclists, to keep you away from the traffic so you can plan your own cycle tour with confidence.  Before your ride, use icon filters to find accommodation and caravan options and food stops along the way. As you are riding along, know when the next Cafe is coming up and enjoy the history and points of interest.
