Cooloola Great Walk

89 km (102km via beach) Coastal,  4 to 5 Days.

The Cooloola Great Walk showcases the Great Sandy National Park, the Noosa River and the Teewah Beach hinterland.
Enjoy walking through rainforest, tall eucalypt forest, dry coastal woodland, heath plains and the long white sand beaches of Cooloola and Teewah beaches.

You can hike the CGW in either direction. 
Hiking southbound offers better views through the southern beach section of the trail, and usually means tail winds through the sand patch. 

Cooloola Great Walk is an e-permit camping zone. Camping permits are required. 

The northern and southern Trailheads can be reached by a Greyhound bus and local taxis. Details can be found in the app on the trailhead waypoint.
